Overview
ERPHealth is a SaaS company providing outcome-tracking solutions for healthcare providers. I designed the complete UI/UX system and built the front-end architecture from scratch, collaborating directly with co-founders Nick Bardoutsos and Eric Gremminger to digitize Eric's behavioral health program. With a small two-person development team, we created an inclusive, real-time platform that has since expanded and is actively used across the behavioral health industry today.
The software platform comprises four interconnected interfaces—TAP, HUB, Patient Portal, and GRO—optimized for distinct use cases and fully responsive across devices.
TAP
Each facility uses TAP tablet devices for patient assessments, designed with restricted PHI access so providers can safely leave them with patients unsupervised.
Patient Portal & GRO
The Patient Portal is a mobile-optimized web app where patients complete assessments and set goals, while GRO serves as the alumni platform, transitioning users post-discharge into a familiar, gamified interface featuring social and automated facility posts to promote ongoing engagement.
The gamification of GRO and the Patient Portal involves challenges, marathons, streaks, points, and badges.
HUB
HUB is the main access point for providers and staff to review patient and assessment data, complete evaluations, generate reports, manage facilities and more.
Patient Profiles are used by providers on HUB to view and manage patient data, results, medications, diagnoses, notes and more. The UI of Patient Profiles involve differentiations based on their status, such as alumni, in-treatment, discharged, pending transfer, etc.
Iterative Process
During my three years on the project, the platform evolved significantly through ongoing feature enhancements and design refinements. The following shows the Patient Profile's progression from Dec 2019 to Dec 2022.
