ERPHealth is a SaaS company that provides a series of outcome tracking products to healthcare providers. I designed the user interface and developed the front-end for the entire platform from scratch.
I worked directly with co-founders Nick Bardoutsos & Eric Gremminger to translate Eric's analog behavioral health program into a digital platform that is now regarded as having one of the best user interfaces in the behavioral health industry.
There was always a major emphasis placed on user experience and user interface design - we wanted to create an inclusive platform that was easy for all kinds of patients and providers to use.
The development team consists of myself and one other person. I am reponsible for the design and front-end dev and he is responsible for back-end and software engineering. We were tasked with creating a variety of web apps and interfaces that would work together in real-time from scratch.

Detailed Patient Profiles
The ERPHealth platform consists of four interfaces/products: TAP, HUB, the Patient Portal, and GRO. While each product targets a different device, all interfaces are highly responsive and can be used on any type of device or screen.
Each facility is provided with one or more TAP (tablet) devices which patients use to take assessments primarily. The interface was designed with no PHI (Protected Health Information) so providers can leave the devices with patients unsupervised.
HUB is the main access point for providers and staff to review patient and assessment data, complete evaluations, generate reports, manage facilities and more.

Patient Profiles
Patient Profiles are used by providers on HUB to view and manage patient data, results, medications, diagnoses, notes and more. The UI of Patient Profiles involve differentiations based on their status, such as alumni, in-treatment, discharged, pending transfer, etc.
Executive Report
The Executive Report is one of the reports automated by HUB. It is a summary view of how the facility and its staff are doing month to month. The UI needed to accomodate a design that would be primarily used for print.
The Patient Portal is a separate web app accessed by patients on their personal devices to complete their assessments and set their own goals. It is optimized for use on mobile, but works on all devices. Our latest initiative has been to add gamification to our system, incentivizing patients and alumni to log in and complete their assessments.
GRO is ERPHealth's alumni program and interface. It features a social feed that has custom posts from facilities as well as automated posts by ERPHealth. Once a patient is discharged into GRO, their Patient Portal interface switches to a GRO interface. The idea behind this design was to seamlessly transition from the Patient Portal into GRO, so patients recognize it. The key was striking the right balance of similiarities and differences so GRO felt familiar and understandable but also new and exciting.
The gamification of GRO and the Patient Portal involves challenges, marathons, streaks, points, and badges.
The platform has undergone many changes over the past three years. We are constantly updating each feature and the overall styling. The following is a progression of the Patient Profile since Dec 2019.
